SECURITY CLEARANCES:
2.5.1  Gate Passes:  Instructions for obtaining entry passes to Military
Reservations are given in Appendix G.  Coordinate with the PDE.
2.5.2  Clearances for Handling of Classified Material:  Instructions for
obtaining clearances to handle classified material or visit classified
areas will be issued at the appropriate time.
2.5.3  Area Clearances:
The PDE will process the area clearances which are

2.5.3.2  For Diego Garcia, Africa, and the Middle East, the following
additional information is required:
a.
Passport Number, date or place of issue, expiration date
2.6  A-E RELEASE OF INFORMATION:  Do not release any information concerning
a project to anyone other than authorized Government personnel.  Obtain a
written clearance approval from the COMPACNAVFACENGCOM before releasing any
information pertinent to a project in the planning, design or construction
phase for publication, public speeches, or in any other manner.  Submit
requests in writing to PACNAVFACENGCOM Code 00D, Public Affairs Officer.
Submit in duplicate the material for which clearance is desired.  During
the bidding period, refer requests made by prospective bidders for
clarification or intent of drawings and specifications and questions
relative to bidding forms, bonds and contract forms to the Contracts Office
of the office issuing the solicitation.

CONTACTS
2.7.1  Contacts with Government Activities:  Report to the activity Public
Works Officer or Staff Civil Engineer prior to commencing any work at the
activity such as field investigations, surveys, testing and soils
investigations.  Obtain and follow the policies on performing work at the
activity.  Outbrief the Public Works Officer or Staff Civil Engineer on the
day the work is completed.
2.7.2  Contacts with Public Utilities and Private Property Owners:
