(2) Figure 38 illustrates troubleshooting a grounded open using the "Ground Return
Method." Prior to this test each load cable should be meggered to ground. The cable with the
highest resistance to ground should be disconnected. The ground return ground should be
connected to the regulator in its place. In determining which cable to disconnect, this same
procedure should be followed when using the "Ground Return Switch."
