ABSTRACT
This handbook was produced to provide detailed guidance for the incorporation
of fire protection engineering measures in the design and construction of
Department of Defense (DOD) facilities engineering. Concerns for property,
equipment, and personnel were among the comprehensive considerations included
in this handbook to ensure safety of human life and continuity of mission, and
to minimize injuries and damage to property and equipment.
