TELEPHONE
a. The A/E shall contact the Activity Communications Officer
responsible for administration telephone service to obtain criteria for
telephone services, the Activity Providing Telephone Service (APTS), and the
Base Administration Telephone Officer (BATO) in order to obtain the point of
connectivity (POC) and telephone feeder cable requirements. The A/E shall
also contact the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station,
(NCTAMS) to obtain the latest criteria for telecommunications design. (804-

b. The A/B shall forward copies of page 4 information of this document
with the Design Development Submission Drawings/Final Submission Drawings, and
necessary supporting documents NCTAMS, Code N532, Norfolk, VA 23511-5355,
ATTN: Code N532.
C. Appendix "H" of Navy Telephone Manual describes the additional
telephone requirements pertaining to newly constructed buildings and/o+ a
building to be refurbished by the MILCON Program.
d. The outside telephone feeder cable route shall be included in the
construction documents and so noted on drawings; this is required whether MCON
or separately funded.
