approved.  Great care should be taken to provide the requisite protection to
such devices.  Grounding, bonding, shielding, physical isolation, filtering
of all leads, and visual screening may be required in varying degrees and
combinations.  Each device must be evaluated separately, as well as the
environment where it will he operated.  In paragraph 5.3, installation
concepts for a number of items of RED equipment are provided.  The designer
may wish to consult the cognizant TEMPEST authority to determine the
availability of TEMPEST compliant equipment.  TEMPEST compliant equipment is
any equipment designed to NACSIM 5100, but not tested.
