 9.8 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE (O&M) PROJECTS
These types of projects involve any combination of Construction, Repair, Maintenance, and
Equipment Installation and are funded from local appropriations. For funding control, it may
sometimes be required that line items in the cost estimates be designated with a "C", "R",
"M", and "E" to identify and segregate the types of work involved. Where this is a
requirement of the Statement of A-E Services, consult with the Cost Engineers for
guidance.
