Contractor Submittals. Drawings and documentation pertaining to
materials, fabrication procedures,
installation procedures,
personnel qualifications, cleaning procedures and records, and
testing procedures and records, which are required to document
work performed by contractors on certified facilities.
Controlled Assembly.
Proper assembly of a component in
accordance with detail drawing(s), including material and
clearance readings, verified by a second witness, usually the QA
inspector.
Controlled Material. Any material which the commanding officer,

throughout
the
manufacturing/repair
process,
including
installation, in order to meet the
specifications required of the end product. Controlled material
shall be placed in segregated storage and shall be identified by
