** Trench rock excavation is that which removal is confined within a

Rock payout lines are to be shown on the drawings using the following guidance:

Two foot outside of concrete work for which forms are
required, except footings.
2.
One foot outside perimeter of footings.
3.
In pipe trenches, 6-inches below invert elevation of pipe and
2 ft. wider than inside diameter of pipe, but not less than 3
ft. minimum trench width.
